Scoutmaster Brant Schulz is retiring!

Retirement dinner to be held on January 26, 2015

After 15 years of selfless commitment to the children and greater community of Waconia, Scoutmaster Brant Schulz has announced his well-deserved retirement from scouting effective January 1.  Past and current members of Troop 327 will be hosting a retirement dinner at Island View Dining on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 5:30-9:00 p.m.  A meal, cake and refreshments will be provided free of charge to those interested in honoring and thanking Mr. Schulz for his years of dedicated service.  All scouts and leaders are requested to dress in their Class A uniform for this special event.  Any scout, but all Eagle scouts are requested to pen a hand-written note to Mr. Schulz expressing their gratitude.  If you have not already responded to the evite, please RSVP your attendance, including the number of adults and children, to  Any questions can be directed to the same email address.

Meeting Updates

  • Monday 12/15 meeting - 5:30pm at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen Hi Scouts!     Our Monday for tomorrow, December 15th, takes place at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen. We meet there in the parking lot at 5:30pm. Feed My Starving Children is located at 18732 Lake Drive East, Chanhassen, which is just off Highway 5 close to Dell Road.   • Monday Meeting 12/8 - Location: St. Boni Activity Center 7PM - Ski Demo Hi Scouts!     Mr. Weible has been kind enough to arrange for us to use the St. Bonifacius Activity Center for this week's (12/8) Scout Meeting. The Center is attached to the City Hall which is located on Highway 7 next to the new Walk Bridge on the Rail Trail.     Our meeting this evening will be part of the Skiing Merit Badge that you can complete this weekend on the Powder Ridge ski trip. We will be discussing Ski Equipment and the important part it plays in sking safely. Please arrive at 7pm sharp. We need a Snow Boarder to bring their equipment so we can fulfill that pare of the Merit Badge so if you are a Snow ...
