Monday Meeting 1/28 - Winter Survival - Clothing, Shelter Building, etc. – 7pm Scout Building

Hi Scouts!

The subject of tonight's Monday Meeting (January 28^th) is Winter Survival - Clothing, Shelter Building, etc. We meet at 7pm at the Scout Building. This will not only give you all the information you will need to survive and thrive at the Winter Camporee, it will also teach you fundamental winter survival skills that have saved people’s lives. At the end of the meeting you will have a chance to experiment with building your own shelters so dress warm and bring snow shelter building equipment.

In addition, I have brought some cookies from China for everyone to try from a confectionary company that has been serving the Suzhou, China area for well over 100 years! And if you like, we can do a quick Q&A about what traveling in China is like.

Please note that the future meeting locations listed below are tentative. If someone has a place to meet that is warmer than the Scout Building we may relocate there. See you at the meeting!
